I understand and agree that the area administrator for this NAS will conduct monthly maintenance of this NAS including a scheduled restart and firmware update.

I also understand that the University’s Division of Information Technology regularly scans the network for vulnerabilities. Any recorded issues with this NAS device will be reported to the area administrator listed above and it is expected these issues are attended to as soon as possible.
Life Expectancy Agreement(Required)
I understand that we can typically expect to receive 5-7 years out of a NAS device. We must abide by the firmware’s EOL timeframe. Once this device no longer receives security updates from the manufacturer, this device must be taken offline.
